creatures by peter hoecherl

Night arrives, covering the earth with a veil of darkness. Most creatures hide away for the night, tucked away, unaware of the other world that begins as the hours grow old. Out of holes, around corners, and perched high on spires of dark shadowy buildings lurk the more hideous of the unknown world. Gargoyles of all shapes and sizes spread their wings and prepare for their nightly vigil. The stand guard over castles and play tricks on unsuspecting fools. They invade villages and attack the weak. They are the ones who haunt your thoughts and tease your fears. They are the Gargoyles, the clever and grotesque. Take a moment and entertain your most morbid thoughts; the dark ones are waiting.
